Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Java Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing enterprise-level Java applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement scalable, robust, and high-performance enterprise-level Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java technologies and frameworks.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of Java applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, development, testing, and deployment.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Java Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience in enterprise-level projects.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language, Java EE, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- In-depth knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP), XML, JSON, and related technologies.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, ORM frameworks), caching mechanisms, and message queues.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA, Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp quickly complex concepts and technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in performance tuning, scalability, and security considerations in enterprise-level applications.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
