Privacy Policy

How SkyHire India collects, uses, protects and manages your personal information.

Last Updated: 05 July 2026
Your privacy matters to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how SkyHire India (“SkyHire India”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal data when you visit our website, search or apply for aviation opportunities, contact us, make an application-related payment where applicable, or otherwise use our career services.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Policy applies to personal information processed through the SkyHire India website and related online application, candidate communication and career service processes. It does not automatically apply to websites, systems or privacy practices of airlines, airports, aviation companies, payment providers or other third parties that may be linked from our website.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity and profile information: full name, date of birth, gender, marital status and other information entered in an application form.
  • Contact information: email address, mobile number, current address, city, state or Union Territory and pincode.
  • Education information: qualification, specialization or stream and year of passing.
  • Employment and experience information: total work experience, months of experience, current employer, aviation experience, designation, previous airline, airport or aviation company and aviation experience duration.
  • Application information: job applied for, resume or CV, introduction or cover letter, declarations, consents and application status.
  • Verification information: email verification status and information necessary to send and validate a one-time password (OTP).
  • Payment and transaction information: application reference, payment status, amount and transaction-related records where a fee is enabled. We do not ask you to disclose your UPI PIN, ATM PIN or banking password.
  • Technical and usage information: information reasonably generated when you access the website, such as browser, device, IP address, security logs and website usage information, where collected by our hosting, security or technical systems.
  • Communication information: messages, support requests, complaints and correspondence sent to us.
Do not upload unnecessary sensitive documents.
Unless specifically and lawfully requested at a later verified stage, do not upload Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements, debit or credit card details, UPI PIN, ATM PIN, passwords or other unrelated confidential documents in the resume or application form.

3. How We Collect Information

We may collect information directly from you when you complete an application, verify your email, upload a resume, contact support or make a payment. We may also receive limited technical information automatically through website, hosting, security and server technologies. Where appropriate, information may be received from service providers acting on our behalf.

4. Why We Use Your Information

We may process personal information for the following purposes:

  • to create, receive, review and manage job applications;
  • to verify contact details and protect application integrity;
  • to assess candidate eligibility, qualifications and experience;
  • to provide career, application and recruitment-related services;
  • to communicate application acknowledgements, status updates, service messages and support responses;
  • to process or reconcile application-related payments where applicable;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate or suspicious activity and security incidents;
  • to maintain records, troubleshoot technical issues and improve website reliability;
  • to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, regulatory requirements and legal obligations; and
  • to establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.

5. Consent and Lawful Processing

Where we rely on your consent, we seek consent for a specified purpose through an affirmative action, such as selecting a consent checkbox or submitting information after receiving an appropriate notice. You should provide accurate information and review the purpose of collection before submitting personal data.

Where permitted by applicable law, we may also process personal data for other lawful grounds or legitimate uses recognised by law. Withdrawal of consent does not necessarily affect processing already lawfully completed and may affect our ability to continue a service that requires the relevant information.

6. Email OTP and Account Security

SkyHire India may require email OTP verification before an application is submitted. OTPs are intended only for verification and security. Never share an OTP with an unknown person. We will never ask for your UPI PIN, ATM PIN or banking password to verify a job application.

7. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We may disclose or make information available only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

  • authorised SkyHire India personnel and service teams who require access for their work;
  • technology, hosting, email, security, storage and other service providers processing information on our behalf;
  • payment service providers where payment functionality is used;
  • relevant recruitment, aviation or hiring-related parties where such sharing is part of the stated career or application service and is legally permitted;
  • professional advisers, auditors or insurers where reasonably necessary; and
  • government authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

Third-party recipients may have their own legal and privacy obligations. Where a third-party website or service operates independently, its own privacy policy may apply.

8. Recruitment and Airline Disclaimer

SkyHire India is an aviation career and job platform. Unless expressly stated on a specific page, SkyHire India should not be assumed to be the airline, airport or aviation employer named in a job listing. References to third-party companies, airlines, airports, trademarks or job opportunities are for identification and career-service purposes. Candidates should review job details, communications and any applicable employer terms carefully.

9. Payments and Financial Safety

Where an application-related fee is enabled, the amount and payment requirement should be displayed as part of the application flow. Payment-related records may be maintained for reconciliation, support, fraud prevention and legal or accounting purposes.

SkyHire India does not need your UPI PIN, ATM PIN, card PIN or banking password. Never send these credentials through a form, email, chat or support message. Payment providers may process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy practices.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage applications and career services, resolve disputes, maintain security and transaction records, and meet legal, regulatory, accounting or record-keeping requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on the category of information and the status of an application.

When personal data is no longer required for an applicable purpose and retention is not otherwise required or permitted by law, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it in accordance with our processes.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. Measures may include access controls, secure application practices, verification controls, restricted file types, server and database protections and security monitoring.

No internet transmission, website or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Candidates are also responsible for protecting their email account, device and verification codes.

12. Personal Data Breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, SkyHire India will assess the incident and take response measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the breach. We will provide notifications to affected individuals and competent authorities where and in the manner required by applicable law.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and the relevant legal requirements, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the ability to request information about processing, seek correction, completion or updating of inaccurate information, request erasure in applicable circumstances, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and raise a grievance.

We may need to verify your identity and application details before acting on a privacy request. Certain information may be retained where continued retention is required or permitted by law.

14. Correction and Erasure Requests

If you believe information submitted to SkyHire India is inaccurate or incomplete, you may contact us through our official Contact page. Clearly identify the application or interaction concerned without sending passwords, PINs or unnecessary identity documents. We may request proportionate information to verify the request.

15. Withdrawal of Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may request withdrawal of consent through our official contact channel. Withdrawal should be as clear as the original consent request. If the relevant data is necessary to process or maintain an application service, withdrawal may mean that we cannot continue that service, subject to applicable law.

16. Grievance Redressal

If you have a privacy concern, complaint or grievance regarding our handling of personal information, please contact SkyHire India through the official Contact page and provide sufficient details for us to understand and review the issue. We will assess privacy grievances and respond through an appropriate process.

17. Children and Minimum Age

Our career and application services are intended for individuals who are legally eligible for the relevant opportunity. We do not intend to knowingly process a child's personal data in a manner inconsistent with applicable law. If a job or service is not available to minors, a minor should not submit an application for that opportunity.

If you believe a child has provided personal data inappropriately, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

18. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use essential cookies, sessions or similar technologies required for security, form functionality, CSRF protection, OTP-related workflows, preferences and website operation. Where non-essential cookies or analytics technologies are introduced, additional notice or choice mechanisms may be provided where required.

19. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to airline career pages, aviation companies, payment services or other external websites. We do not control independent third-party websites. Visiting an external site is subject to that site's terms, privacy policy and security practices. Review them before providing personal information.

20. Cross-Border Processing

Personal data may be processed using service infrastructure or providers in locations permitted under applicable law. Where cross-border processing or transfer occurs, we will address applicable legal restrictions and requirements relevant to such processing.

21. Automated Decisions

Website validations, security controls and application workflows may use automated rules, for example to validate required fields, file types, OTP status or payment status. Unless separately disclosed, these technical checks should not be understood as a guarantee of employment or a final hiring decision by an airline or employer.

22. Accuracy of Candidate Information

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete and not misleading. Do not submit another person's personal information without authority. False, fraudulent or misleading information may result in rejection, restriction of services or other action permitted by law.

23. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, security practices or applicable legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through additional notices where appropriate.
